Enjoy a relaxing journey by Steam Train combined with countryside walks, a pub lunch or a visit to historic Lanhydrock House for a memorable day out.

The Bodmin & Wenford railway is Cornwall's only standard gauge railway still operated by steam locomotives, which run through some of Cornwall's most beautiful scenery.

Bodmin General Station
Bodmin General Station was restored in 1991 and offers a Buffet and Souvenir Shop. Often it is possible to view locomotives being restored in the Engine Shed at the station.

Colesloggett Halt
Enjoy a picnic in the peaceful countryside during a stop at this country halt. A footpath leads to Cardinham Woods where nature trails, cycle tracks and refreshments in the Woodland cafe' can all be found.

Bodmin Parkway Station
From the station can be enjoyed a scenic walk to the nearby National Trust property Lanhydrock House.

Boscarne Junction
Providing a direct link with the popular Camel Trail foot and cycle path to Wadebridge and Padstow this stop also provides for a short walk to the 'Borough Arms' public house (approximately a 10 minute walk).
